Tesla rentals with Wattz start from RM550/day for a Tesla Model 3, and from RM590/day for a Tesla Model Y. The exact daily rate depends on the specific car, trim, and year, and is always shown on that car’s own listing page before you book.
Return the car with at least the battery level it had at pickup. You record the battery level in the app at pickup and at return, and each percentage point below the pickup level costs RM2. You can charge at home on a standard wall outlet (slow charge) or at any public DC fast charger (roughly 20% to 80% in about 30 minutes). Charging costs during your rental are your responsibility.
Every cancellation has a RM80 cancellation fee. Cancel more than 72 hours before pickup and you get the rest of your payment back. Cancel 24 to 72 hours before pickup and half a day’s rental is also kept; cancel less than 24 hours before pickup and one day’s rental is kept. If you don’t show up, one day’s rental and the service fee are kept.
Yes: foreign visitors can rent with Wattz as long as they hold a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) together with their home country’s driver’s license. You’ll also need to complete identity verification (eKYC) in the app with a passport or MyKad, your driver’s license, and a selfie holding your ID; our team checks it within 24 hours. Renters must be at least 21 for standard vehicles or 25 for vehicles valued at RM250,000 and above.
